About Giant Paw Prints Rescue

We started Giant Paw Prints, Inc. because the giant breeds are usually overlooked at the shelter. They cost more to feed and vet so we try to assist by getting them fully vetted before placement.

Giant Paw Prints Rescue, Inc., (GPPR) is an all volunteer-based 501(C)3 Non-Profit Charitable Organization that was founded in 2012.  Our mission is to rescue and rehome dogs that are in shelters or unwanted.  While we specialize in large breeds, we will help any dog in need.

We vet every dog we take in and then place them in a foster home.  If needed, some dogs will stay in a boarding facility until a foster home can be found.  During this time at a foster or boarding facility, we try to take care of every medical need or treatment we can. We also provide our foster families with all the food, toys and supplies they need to help our dogs adjust to a new life.  If you're interested in becoming a foster family, check out the "How You Can Help" page.

We run entirely on donations from the community.  These come in the form of private donations of money and/or supplies, fundraising activities and events, and the generosity of local businesses.  Please let us know if you are willing to make a donation to help all our dogs in need!  All donations are 100% tax deductable.

GPPR are fabulous people with a passion for our fury friends. They are very thorough and matched us up with a perfect dog Zeke! Thank you!!!

This is an amazing bunch of volunteers with the best interests of the dogs at heart in everything they do. They worked with me to help make an out-of-state rescue happen - and we have a healthy, beautiful (and loved!) dog to show for their efforts.
