He is fully vaccinated, will be neutered, microchipped, dewormed and on heartworm preventative

LUCY

Lucy is a female | 100 pounds | 2 year old | Great Pyrenees

She is sweet, smart and full of puppy play and very cuddly. She is fully vaccinated, will be spayed, microchipped, dewormed and on heartworm preventative. Great Pyrenees experience is helpful.

       KC              ODIN

Giant Paw Prints had two resident dogs since we purchased the “Dog House” in October 2017. The resident dog has a job - test other dogs and protect dog beds in the meet & greet room ;)

KC was our first resident dog. KC came in with a lot of issues and losing his sight. He became our test dog with our intakes that were brought in. KC was always calm and knew how to read the body language of other dogs and he would help the intakes adjust and learn to be a dog. He played with the dogs and helped them socialize with our volunteers. KC collapsed during morning shift and passed away the evening of 06/02/24 from a tumor on his heart that was bleeding internally

Odin came to use from a shelter that helped him gain weight Odin was found emaciated, could not stand or walk. When he came to us we would have to help him up and get him moving, he had no muscle tone in his back legs. Odin could not be active for more than 15 minutes before he would have to lay down and take a nap. We worked with Odin to build muscle, socialize him with people and other dogs. Odin didn’t like being touched around his neck and would bite if upset. Odin was diagnosed with HOD’s disease. Odin became the new house dog - with his flopped over ear, crazy gait, silly face and loving heart. He was going through training and doing very well, he liked the “touch” part of training and the liver treats. We wanted Odin to go to schools with us to talk about rescue and shelter dogs. On August 24, 2024 Odin became lethargic and was rushed to the ER. Odin had a hole/disconnect of his stomach to his intestines that they found during emergency surgery. We let Odin go August 25, 2024

Both dogs were assets to our rescue. They had a job and they both excelled at them. RIP sweet boys Until we meet again
